Opening: January 31 through February 25, 2010

Aurora is Caite Dheere’s first group show of 2010 at Polychrome Fine Arts. Perhaps best described by Monday Magazine, Aurora is a “multi-artist exhibition where a sense of mystical parallel place has been found within each artist’s interior self, suggesting varied environments inspired by northern living.” Locals can see Caite’s work in person at 1113 Fort Street in Victoria, BC.

Polychrome Fine Arts presents Wish List, a collection of paintings, drawings, and sculpture culled from about 25 West Coast artists. If you are in Victoria and have yet to visit Polychrome, curators Mary Patterson and Shawn Shepherd have transformed the space at 1113 Fort Street (at Cook) into a wonderful design experience worth seeing. Join Caite on Sunday, November 29 between 12:00 to 6:00 pm.

Silent Auction: September 11, 2009

Art Incognito is the Vancouver Island School of Art’s annual silent auction fundraiser. Caite will be showing her work along with approximately 100 other artists. This year’s gala features live music, martinis and food, as well as a chance to bid on a wide selection of art. For more information see the Art Incognito website.

Opening: June 27 through August 30, 2009

Starting June 27, 2009 and running through August 30, Caite will be exhibiting new work with over 80 artists at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria’s Summer Small Works. Please visit the exhibition and sale between 10:00am-5:00pm.

One Day Event: July 18, 2009

On what promises to be another fantastic Saturday in July, Moss Street will fill with over 100 artists and 20,000 art lovers for the 22nd annual Moss Street Paint-In. Caite will be showing again this year between May Street and Faithful Street. She is also participating in the Artist’s Pallet program, a special demonstration feature for kids. The Paint-In runs from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Hope to see you there.

Caite will be showing new and recent work at the Saanich Municipal Hall’s Second Floor Gallery from March 4 to March 31, 2009. The viewing gallery is open to the public Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. All pieces are for sale. Please see reception for the price list.

New show! Next weekend, Lesli Ellis is celebrating the launch of her new business – Random House Design & Staging. To mark the event, Lesli is hosting an open house featuring one of Caite’s new pieces as well as works from many other local artists.

Caite will be showing at the TD Canada Trust Moss Street Paint-In. The annual juried event, part of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria community outreach program, is celebrating its 21st year.

Caite will be displaying new work and demonstrating encaustic techniques between 12:00 – 4:00 pm right near Dallas Road.

Auction Date: March 9, 2008

Each spring, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria presents Art In Bloom, a silent art auction, as well as a lecture, event, and workshop series on the art of gardening. Caite was asked to submit one piece to this year’s fund raiser.

Opening: June 23 through July 1, 2007

Caite Dheere and Irma Soltonovich held a two-person show, called New Works, at the Gallery on Herald in Victoria’s Chinatown district. The exhibit ran from June 23 to July 1, 2007.

It was a beautiful summer evening. A smiling crowd filled the gallery and spilled out onto the sidewalk with wine and laughter. Thanks to everyone who came to the opening, especially family and out of town guests.
